Space RF Applications & Mission Areas

Satellite Communications & Data Relay

Spacecraft are moving more mission data across LEO, MEO, GEO, and cislunar architectures than ever before. Reliable data relay, payload downlinks, and SATCOM links depend on RF front ends, SSPAs, LNAs, converters, and filtering that can perform across demanding mission environments.

TT&C and Mission Communications

Telemetry, tracking, and command links are the lifeline of a spacecraft. S-band, X-band, UHF, and C-band communication paths help maintain command authority, spacecraft health monitoring, ground station connectivity, and mission operations from launch through end of life.

Missile Warning, Tracking, and Defense

Missile defense architectures depend on speed, timing, and trusted data paths. Space-based sensing, tracking, telemetry, command links, Ka-band communications, S-band backup TT&C, and test systems all require RF hardware that can keep pace with fast-moving defense programs.

Space Domain Awareness and Recon

GEO surveillance, proximity operations, satellite inspection, and orbital reconnaissance require spacecraft that can observe, maneuver, communicate, and report back with confidence. Compact RF amplifiers, LNAs, filters, converters, and front-end modules help support command, telemetry, and mission data transfer in complex orbital environments.

Lunar and Cislunar Infrastructure

The Moon is becoming an operating environment, not just a destination. Lunar rovers, landers, relay satellites, payloads, and future surface systems will need LunaNet-aligned RF links, including S-band proximity communications, X-band direct-to-Earth paths, Ka-band data links, diplexers, filters, and lunar RF front ends.

Exploration, Manufacturing, and Re-Entry Operations

Deep space science missions, orbital manufacturing platforms, return vehicles, and re-entry operations each bring unique RF challenges. These systems need dependable telemetry, payload data links, command paths, rugged RF amplifiers, filtering, and mission-specific hardware built around performance, speed, and reliability.
