L-Band High Power Amplifier (HPA) – NuPower™ L60T01
The NuPower™ L60T01 L-Band Power Amplifier is a small, highly efficient, connectorized solid state power amplifier that delivers over 60 watts of RF power from 960 to 1390 MHz to extend the operational range of airborne telemetry links and transmitters.
The L-Band High Power Amplifier – NuPower™ L60T01 for airborne telemetry delivers 60 watts of RF output power across a wide 960 MHz to 1390 MHz frequency range, making it ideal for demanding airborne and tactical communication applications. Designed with advanced GaN technology, this compact amplifier combines high efficiency with strong linear performance in a small form factor measuring just 4.50” x 3.50” x 0.61”. The unit accepts a nominal 0 dBm RF input and includes integrated over-voltage protection and logic on/off control for reliable system operation. Its high-efficiency design helps reduce strain on DC power budgets while extending operational range and improving link margin in mission-critical environments. Engineered for space- and size-constrained platforms, this amplifier is well suited for airborne RF telemetry, RF communication systems, electronic warfare and airborne electronic attack, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), and software-defined radio applications.
L-Band High Power Amplifier NuPower L60T01’s 25% power efficiency at rated power and <10 in3 form factor make it ideal for size, weight, and power-constrained airborne telemetry, tactical communication systems, and electronic warfare systems.
NuPower PAs feature over-voltage protection and can operate over a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C (baseplate).
All NuPower PAs have an optional Micro-D cable assembly with 18″ flying leads for interfacing to the unit.
