C-Band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA): NuPower C30R01
The NuPower™ C30R01 C-Band Power Amplifier is a small, broadband, high performance, solid state power amplifier that delivers at least 30 watts of RF power from 5.03 to 5.09 GHz, to boost signal power levels of data links and transmitters for communications range extension, electronic warfare (e.g. electronic attack), etc.
The C-Band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) – C-Band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA): NuPower C30R01 delivers 30 watts of RF output power across 5.03 GHz to 5.09 GHz in a compact, lightweight package measuring just 4.50” x 3.50” x 0.61”. Designed with high-efficiency GaN technology, the amplifier accepts a nominal 0 dBm RF input while providing reliable performance for demanding RF and communications applications. Integrated over-voltage and reverse-voltage protection, along with logic on/off control, help ensure dependable operation in harsh environments. Its efficient design reduces strain on DC power budgets while improving link margin and extending operational range. The amplifier’s compact footprint also minimizes required space on size- and weight-constrained platforms, making it ideal for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) Group 2 and 3, unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), broadband RF telemetry, RF communication systems, airborne electronic attack applications/ electronic warfare, and software-defined radio platforms. The NuPower C30R01 accepts a nominal 0 dBm (1 mW) RF input and provides 45 dB of gain from 5.03 GHz to 5.09 GHz for continuous wave (CW) and near-constant-envelope waveforms.
NuPower PAs feature over-voltage protection and can operate over a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C (baseplate).
All NuPower PAs have an optional Micro-D cable assembly with 18″ flying leads for interfacing to the unit.
