NuWaves is looking for passionate RF Design Engineers and other professionals to help us carry out our Purpose: Provide one-of-a-kind technical solutions for the US Military and offer unique opportunities for aspiring individuals to learn and grow. 

Because the vast majority of NuWaves’ business is focused on military applications and the rules and regulations governing the same, we are only able to employ U.S. citizens.

Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field and 2-6 years RF design experience. Individuals must have knowledge of RF circuits that include power amplifiers through C-Band, RF upconverters and downconverters, RF filters, and low noise amplifiers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills.

Experienced in manufacturing of electronics which includes soldering, PCBs, and hardware assembly. Certifications in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 preferred, but not required.

The Mechanical Assembler must have basic knowledge of mechanics. This individual must possess basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and tools. This position is a contract to hire position pending the candidate meets all requirements of the job within 30 days.

The Project Manager assists in implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of multiple RF design and development projects. This individual generates and disseminates strong project knowledge and cost, schedule, and scope information to NuWaves’ Leadership team. Working cross-domain to achieve strategic outcomes, this position provides tactical oversight for all activities within their assigned projects. Technical writing competency is a requirement for this position. Electronic or Engineering background is a plus. 

The RF Engineering Technician is part of the product development team and supports testing and documentation processes in the design of new products, such as, RF power amplifiers, upconverters, downconverters, RF filters, and low noise amplifiers. Individuals in this position take direction from Engineers, Project Managers, Senior-level Technicians to test, characterize, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems through use of electronic equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, custom test equipment, etc. Soldering skills a plus. 

The Applications Engineer is responsible for understanding the functionality, application and internal circuitry of all NuWaves’ products, finding innovative solutions to improve manufacturability, providing in-depth technical support to customers and supporting new product introductions. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of RF Engineering experience desired.
